Based on the prevalence of H1N1 last fall in Charlottesville, the widespread distribution of a vaccination, and the new public awareness of flu season health precautions, do you think that H1N1 will be as large pandemic at UVA this fall?

  2. I think that the pandemic H1N1 will still circulate next winter, but we'll definitely see a decline in the disease.

  3. Viruses are constantly mutating, with changes that we cannot predict. While H1N1 will most likely still be around next flu season, it is possible that there may be another, even deadlier mutation of the flu that we are not expecting.
